Futuristic technology has permeated every aspect of our lives these days. Studying, cleaning, cooking, hardly anything is still exactly how it used to be back in the day. Just the other day, I met one of my friends who just wouldn’t stop raving about this smart fridge she got.
Apparently, her smart fridge can keep track of everything that’s inside it and alert you when you need to go grocery shopping again. Honestly, I was impressed by refrigerators with ice dispensers when they came out so this just blew me away.
You can visit websites like The Juzz to see many new kinds of appliances and their buying guides. I will list out some of my favorite smart appliances for you:
Get Smart Plate
Yeah, so they also invented a smart plate. What’s special about it? You know when you decide to start watching what you eat and look up calories you find in all kinds of food on the internet? The smart plate saves you from that hassle. Judging by the texture, weight, and feel of the ingredients on the plate, it can tell you a good estimate of how many calories you are about to consume. I was personally really impressed by this.
Sous Vide Machine
This is something you are probably familiar with if you have been watching cooking shows on Food Network and all. Sous vide machine requires you to place your food in a vacuum sealed bag and cook it in a water bath at a set temperature. It does not get overcooked because all the moisture and flavor is locked in the bag. You can then sear it in a pan for the perfect texture and flavor.
Smart Coffee Maker
This is something I desperately need for my lazy days. This is basically a normal coffee maker that you can control with your smartphone. Just keep restocking it with coffee beans and it grinds them at your command. You decide the quantity! Then t brews those beans at the command from your smartphone too. So you can just sit there and watch TV while your coffee brews. Interesting, no?
Electronic Kitchen Scales
Electronic kitchen scales are a huge hype with health fanatics. They can basically be used to measure the weight of food that you plan to eat. This makes it easier for you to calculate the number of calories that are present in the food that you plan to eat. You can also use it to weigh ut how much of something you need to put in a recipe.
Air fryers are relatively old technology now but they wow me to this day. The basic idea is to brush foods that we usually deep fry in oil, place it in the air fryer then switch it on. The food comes with a perfectly deep-fried texture and taste but with only a fraction of the oil used. Such brilliant technology.
