The 24th Annual International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York opened on Sunday, March 5 at the Javits Center in New York and ran through Tuesday, March 7. Over 17,500 restaurant and foodservice industry professionals gathered to see and sample thousands of products, services, and equipment from more than 550 leading vendors, and participate in 40+ educational programs and many special events. The event was sponsored by the New York State Restaurant Association and managed and produced by Urban Expositions.
Highlights from the event included the Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum; a Culinary Demonstration Theater featuring top chefs; the Food Trends Experience featured 75 new food and beverage companies; Taste NY Food & Craft Beverage Showcase; Paris Gourmet’s US Pastry Chef of the Year Competition.
The 28th Annual United States Pastry Competition themed “Modern Masters Come to Chocolate” inspired by the artwork artists such as Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Marc Chagall and Salvador Dali.
