Biergarten at The Chester Brings Back Old World Charm With a Today Feel

Biergarten at The Chester Brings Back Old World Charm With a Today Feel
The Chester

Celebrity watching.

The perfect way to spend a summer night is at the Biergarten at The Chester at The Gansevoort Hotel. With plenty of celebrity viewings, delicious BBQ and a beer garden, that has the perfect people watching and being watched spot in the meatpacking district, this is a no brainer. They also have daily specials to entice and impress. With HD TVs throughout the venue you won’t miss a thing.

The Chester

The bar

The Chester, under the influence of Brian Mazza, who is the president of The Chester and part of the Paige Hospitality Group brings back the spirit of a traditional beer garden and wraps around the restaurant, offering guests exhilarating views of the historic cobblestone streets lining 13th and Hudson Streets and Ninth Avenue. Surrounded by greenery, the Chester Biergarten is an intimate, has picnic-table seating and a signature ‘Bucket List’ menu of sharable dishes and expertly selected German beers. Not to mention weekly like $5 Beers & ½ Price Wines by the Glass from 4 – 7 p.m. every day. They even have specials though you have to call and find out when of  UNLIMITED beer/wine/wells and BBQ fare for $55! Biergarten’s BBQ is the best I have had and I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ. They do have the amazing BBQ Rib Biscuits with grilled corn, coleslaw, buttermilk biscuit and watermelon for $18.00. I highly recommend this dish as it is a delight.
