Book Stores Are Making a ComeBack As Amazon Rekindles The Trend

Are you like me and miss the old school book stores that have all but disappeared from Manhattan? Well despair no longer because at 7 West 34th Street a new book store has appeared. Midtown’s Amazon Books, has 3,700 of Amazon’s highest-rated titles lined up for you to browse. This  5,200-square-foot store is organized in several different sections, features a reading area, tech table and rotating product display with seasonal gift items. The store will also be serving up coffee’s, tea’s and other goodies from Stumptown Coffee Roasters. This Portland-basied chain found inside Ace Hotel New York on West 29th Street, and on West 8th Street in Greenwich Village, has open its third NYC outpost at the bookstore. Open between 6:30 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Midtown’s Amazon Books, at 7 West 34th St., is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
