The Magical Journey of Swankypants, has been written for the advancement of the imaginations of children living on the planet earth or in the enchanted forest which is located two rainbows down the road under the mysteriously sparkling cloud just to the left of the sterling silver tree which is encircled by the multi-coloured birds who chirp the music to which the butterflies dance the choreography taught to them by the woodland pixies lit by the first seventy-hundred stars ignited by the jeweled wand of creation’s naughtiest fairy, Miss Amazina Twink. This is the story of a cat named Swankypants who lives with an English family at their home, Chapel Cottage, in rural England. As a kitten Swankypants was gifted with marvelous powers that allow him to fearlessly explore the universe and return home with the colors, lights, stars, constellations and energy that bestow the boundless possibilities of love, loyalty and magic to every living creature at Chapel Cottage. His journey is fraught with dangers thrown in his path by jealous smaller-minded creatures. But Swankypants prevails and happiness fills Chapel Cottage in time for Father Christmas and the miracle of Christmas morning on earth.
Miss Vickery’s other works include A Little Owl Called Hooty, The Magic Garden, The Mysterious Apples, The Halloween Cats, A Wintry Tale, The Swallows Nest, The Wand-Makers Box, The Christmas Box, Naughty Kizzie, How Tommy Got His Tufty Nose and Digger and Stumpy.
