Foodies in New York are simply loving the fall season. It has been a busy time with openings and fairs. In between it all people in The Big Apple have been enjoying delights at the popular Becky’s Bites, and sipping wine at the delightful Guyer’s on the Upper West Side.
In the West Village, Casita opened with a stunning crowd and was hosted by renowned fashion photographer Antonie Verglas. Founded by Casa La Femme duo, Anastasios Hairatidis and Medhat Ibrahim, Casita is the West Village’s new authentic, organic Spanish Gourmet Market, Restaurant and Cultural Hotspot.
In the spirit of true Southern hospitality, Florida Georgia Line’s Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey and famed Southern barbeque restaurant Brother Jimmy’s are launching Old Camp Sticky Wings exclusively in New York City. It is the ultimate whiskey and wings combination to kick off your pregame. The limited edition wings will be available at Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill (181 Lexington Avenue) through October 9.
And coming up, Vago Restaurant is celebrating a successful first year anniversary. Owners Victoria Guan and Tony Rustja are ready for many more to come at their lovely Italian eatery.

From Chef Julian Medina of Toloache, Tacuba, Coppelia, and Yerba Buena, La Chula has opened its second location in Harlem – the first is in Grand Central Station. The Mexico City-style taqueria serves up traditional tacos as well as ceviches, burritos, and of course margaritas.
