Million Dollar Quartet opened on Broadway in 2010, earning two Tony nominations for Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux. The show is inspired by the December 4, 1956 famed recording session that brought together rock-and-roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins together for the first and only time. The score includes 1950s rock hits such as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” and more.
