Inside Broadway and Annie Bring “Creating the Magic” to Public Schools

Inside Broadway is partnering with the Broadway revival of Annie to offer two exclusive ‘Creating the Magic’ workshops at the Palace Theatre on Thursday 1/24 for over 2,500 NYC public school students (at 10:45am and 1:15pm). The workshops are completely free to all participants, and it will be many of these kids’ very first visit to a Broadway theatre as they get a behind the scenes look at all the different jobs/careers on Broadway and how the show runs and operates (with the Annie cast and crew taking part).

The 75-minute workshops will include special set, music and tech demonstrations led by the show’s crew, as well as performances of a few numbers from the show and an audience Q&A. These workshops aim to provide an extraordinary theatrical experience while also cultivating future audiences by engaging the kids at a young age with all the magic Broadway has to offer (in its 31 years, Inside Broadway has reached over 1 million NYC  public school students with its programs and events).
