This week The James Beard Foundation Greens hosted a beautiful event A Night of Film & Food that had foodies and the best in the industry applauding.
The beloved group partnered with the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s own under-40 group, New Wave, to present a fabulous evening of film and food at the organization’s Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center to honor those in the industry.
Guests enjoyed a night that started with a lovely cocktail reception with beer by Brewery Ommegang. Followed was a fantastic screening of Constructing Albert. The film gave inspiration to those in the room and cared a powerful message of pure determination. Attendees were in full discussion about the movie at the glorious post-reception.
The soiree highlighted Ommegang Beers, Palm Bay Imports wine selections and Negroni Campari by Cocktails by Pamela Wiznitzer and Luis Hernandez of Seamstress.
Dishes served were delightful and perfectly presented to the happy crowd. Participants included: Alex Raij of La Vara, Txikito, and El Quinto Pino; Ryan Hardy of Legacy Records, Pasquale Jones, and Charlie Bird; Desiree Tuttle of Achilles Heel; Shaunna Sargent of Indie Food and Wine at Lincoln Center; Btarts; La Quercia and Murray’s Cheese.
The Foodie Magician, Josh Beckerman, was also on site for the special night.
