Meet The Playwrights of NY SummerFest: Pamela Scott Has Not One But Two Plays in Festivals

Pamela Scott

Pamela Scott has had over 25 of her One Act plays produced in New York City. Her Full-length play The Unwrapping of Christmas won the Columbia University Dramatists Alan Contini Award for Best New Play. Her full-length play Home came in second place. Her plays have been produced at The Irish Arts Center, HERE and Hudson Guild Theatre.

Pamela has been directing in New York City for many years. She was a guest director and teacher at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts for 14 years. Pamela is a member of the Actors Studio Playwright Directors Unit and The Dramatists Guild. She is the Producing Artistic Director of Aching Dogs Theatre and has been for 22 years.  She teaches acting at the T. Schreiber Studio and also coaches actors on several Netflix series and films. She is a proud union member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, SDC.

In All the King’s Horses, the Feds have him, the mob wants him and Patty can’t shake him. Based on a true story of love in the Witness Protection Program. All the King’s Horses at The Bridge Theater July 26st – 29th, August 16th – 19th at 8pm. All Sunday shows are at 2pm.

The Heist finds a couple of gangsters robbing a church. But, not before they find religion, go to confession and maybe whack off a couple of priests. The Heist plays at  NY SummerFest at The Hudson Theatre Guild, 441 West 26 Street (between 9th and 10th Avenues). Performances are Sept 6th at 9pm, 8th at 1pm and the 9th at 6pm.



Off Broadway

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog. She was the Broadway Informer on the all access cable TV Show “The New Yorkers,” soon to be “The Tourist Channel.” email:
