Meet The Playwrights of SummerFest: Jesse Pimentel May Be Known For Resident Evil: Biohazard But He Is Also A Series Playwright

Jesse Pimentel

Jesse Pimentel is an actor and a writer known for the indie films Hara-Kiri and Pledge, the Web Series In the Moment and the video game Resident Evil: Biohazard. In the NY theater scene, he just wrapped a two hander for the Strawberry One Act festival.

His new show at the NY SummerFest Comfort follows Pascal, an ex-con and n’er do well is still reeling from the death of his daughter. Mary, the grandmother of his late child is determined to save the poor man from his own destructive behavior. But, when Rose, Pascal’s childhood sweetheart shows up looking to reconnect, the house of cards built by Mary threatens to come tumbling down.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
