My View: ‘CESCA…….A Great Recipe For Success On The Upper West Side

My View: ‘CESCA…….A Great Recipe For Success On The Upper West Side

Here’s the recipe for a great restaurant.  Combine the hospitality and proficiency of a Greek Owner, add extraordinarily prepared Italian food, finish by mixing and mingling with some of the most fun and exciting people on the Upper West Side, and you have ‘CESCA at 164 w. 75th street.  Owners Stavros Aktipis and Georgia Dumas welcomed Maria von Nicolai, Stephen & Eda Sorokoff and friends to their upscale sophisticated establishment and the evening became one of the best culinary and social evenings this group of gourmets have experienced in New York City.  . Starvos Aktipis who also owns Kellari NY, Kellri DC, and the Martinique Cafe represents the finest characteristics the Greek tradition of friendliness and first-rate dining. ‘CESCA is a contemporary Italian concept which features a seasonal menu with the area’s best farm-to-table ingredients to create cuisine that is bursting with fresh taste and flavors in New York City. It wasn’t New Year’s Eve or someone’s birthday last night but it sure was a great party at ‘CESCA.
