My View: Good Music And Good Food In The Same Place?

My View: Good Music And Good Food In The Same Place?

It was common knowledge that in the bygone era of famed nightclubs one couldn’t have both great food and music in the same establishment.  In fact the clubs were so dark and the taste so inferior, sometimes you didn’t know what you were eating.  Well, Feinstein’s/54 Below and Birdland changed that, but the bar has been raised quite high by the legendary Le Cirque. The restaurant has included some wonderful music on it’s menu. Last night both offerings were spectacular as Sabrina Wender performed with her trio in her final night before it’s summer time in Italy where I hear painter Tony Bennett is a neighbor.  Good food, music, and art, sounds like a great summer!
