Rémy Martin Celebrates Launch of Circle of Centaurs with Jackie Cruz

Rémy Martin Celebrates Launch of Circle of Centaurs with Jackie Cruz
Last night Rémy Martin hosted the best party of the week.  The very special launch celebration for Circle of Centaurs took place at the Bowery Hotel in New York with its newest member of the program, the multi-talented Actress/Singer/Photographer Jackie Cruz. It was a family affair as several members of the Netflix hit series, Orange is the New Black, came out to support their prison sister as she celebrated her passion for singing and showcased her incredible vocal talents with her band”The Family Portrait”.  Jackie’s TV family including actresses Diane Guerrero, Adrienne Moore, Selenis Leyva, Yael Stone and Karina Ortiz were all in attendance and cheering for Jackie throughout the night.  The cast are real life best friends and they all stayed through the night to celebrate Jackie.  Actor Colin Egglesfield was also in attendance and Actor Nolan Funk came out to hear Jackie’s performance as well.

The brand has partnered with multi-talented actor, singer and photographer Jackie Cruz. The program is an extension of the brands One Life/Live Them campaign that recognizes and celebrates individuals’ many talents and launched with Jeremy Renner last year.  The mentorship initiative with Jackie Cruz is one in a series of Rémy Martin Circle of Centaurs programs this year.  Each initiative will give one individual the opportunity to be mentored by someone who has demonstrated an ability to explore his or her many inner talents.

While Cruz is best known for her role as an actress on the Netflix hit series Orange Is The New Black, she is also an exceptional singer, talented musician, and aspiring photographer.  Recognizing that today’s consumer is not defined by one discipline, the Circle of Centaurs program seeks to inspire others who want to explore their own many talents.  Cruz will serve as a mentor for Circle of Centaurs in the category of singing.  Through an online competition, consumers will be asked to submit a 30 to 60 second video of an original song showcasing their vocal skills. One lucky winner will have the opportunity to be mentored by Cruz one-on-one, as well as receive a cash prize to help further his or her singing interests.
