This week Hotel Planner and Cornell Hotel Society NYC hosted the Icon & Innovator After Party at LAVO. The crowd danced the night away over cocktails as Waka Flocka Flame + Live DJ performed their hearts out. Honorees Tim Hentschel and Arne Sorenson were on site for all the fun at the soiree sponsored by Hotel Planner and Splash.

Ocean Resort Casino will officially open at 3pm on June 28th on the iconic Atlantic City boardwalk. The opening of marks the completion of the six-month renovation of the 47-story, 710-foot-tall hotel tower and beachfront resort making it the second tallest building in New Jersey, and tallest on the boardwalk.
With Ocean Resort Casino’s premium beachfront location, the resort has six pools including an indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor pool bar and 19-private cabanas that perfectly compliment the shoreline.
For CEO and owner, Bruce Deifik, Founder of Integrated Properties who own and manage Ocean Resort Casino, the opening of the resort marks an important moment for the resurgence and regeneration of Atlantic City which over the years has borne the brunt, both economically and socially, of casino closures.
The opening of the hotel will bring additional 3,000 jobs to the area, including reinstating former casino workers in their positions, and promises to drive tourism.
In Bridgehampton on June 16, Social Life Magazine will celebrate latest cover star Maria Menounos. The issue is out this Friday and takes a look at the former E! News co-anchor who underwent surgery to remove a golf ball-sized tumor in her brain. Known for being one of Hollywood’s leading entertainment TV correspondents, she is also the co-founder of Afterbuzz TV and the author of two New York Times best-selling books. Maria currently hosts her own SiriusXM radio talk show Conversations with Maria Menounos and is focusing on advocating health and wellness and encouraging individuals to get regular medical checkups.
In Manhattan, Project Promise will hold a gathering at Sixty SoHo Hotel to promote their humanitarian efforts for at-risk youth approaching the oneyear after Hurricane Maria Project Promise is a St. Croix, Virgin Islands based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth on the island of St. Croix. Project Promise’s mission is to support and uplift at-risk youth in St. Croix. Resa O’ Reilly, Founder of Project Promise will host the event.
