This weekend in Brooklyn, Cannonball Productions hosted another epic food event. At The Well hundreds of attendees gathered for two days of tacos, tequila, beer and nachos. It was terrific.
Taco Takeover was full of foodie bliss and fun. Guests sampled the best in tacos from the industry, while indulging in cocktails, beers and tequila samples. Every bite was full of amazing delight.
The crowd enjoyed every moment in the sun and took part in special events such as a nacho eating contest, churro eating contest, and an adult piñata swinging batting. No one had ever seen so many laughing adults running for candy.
Recipes featured at the fair were splendid and passionate. They brought out as much festive joy as the wonderful Mariachi band that had guests dancing under the tent.
The food tasting contest had Kimchi Grill winning on Sunday for their Seared Spicy Pork Tenderloin Taco marinated with red pepper paste, garlic, onions, pico de gallo, carrot/daikon slaw and fresh kimchi. The Staff’s Choice for both days was Natwerks’ Jerk Chicken Tacos.
The producers of this event, as well as the Bacon and Beer Classic, should be applauded for their hard work and creative ideas.
