Celebrity voyeurism has gotten out of hand; just ask Taylor Swift’s lawyers. The website Celebrity Jihad has posted a semi-nude photo claiming it is “most likely” Taylor. You have to love the phrasing “most likely.” They get hits while scamming the public and hurting people in the public eye. The site claims it has the following pictures: Emma Watson on all fours, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, Scarlett Johansson with a Marilyn Monroe up-skirt pose, Katy Perry naked and more. Taylor is 21, Natalie a new mom, Katy a bride, Scarlett gives back, yet Celebrity Jihad thinks it’s ok to pay for pictures to degrade or embarrass them or use “false pornographic images” and “false news,” which is what Taylor’s lawyers are charging.
The country singer is threatening to file a trademark-infringement lawsuit against the website as the woman in the photo is not Taylor. The whole Hollywood community should ban together to close sites like this as it provokes criminal activity.
Celebrity Jihad refuses to respond. They have taken down their site which, by the way, infects other sites with viruses. I know, I had it happen when I logged on. Thank-God I was on an Apple.
Taylor is her wholesome image; she has been busy travelling across the U.S. promoting her very first fragrance Wonderstruck. She unveiled the scent last month and revealed it is named after the lyric ‘I’m wonderstruck blushing all the way home’ from her song Enchanted. Taylor has also been working on her fourth studio album with 25 songs the young artist has written herself. Ms. Swift was also just named “Woman of the Year” by Billboard magazine and will be honored at the 2011 Billboard Women in Music event in New York on December 2nd. The 21-year-old singer is the youngest to ever receive this prestigious award, which is “most likely” why Celebrity Jihad has gone after the young star.
