Ruth and Ed Kurtzman

The always joyous Ruth Kurtzman lost her battle with cancer today.

Ruth was an integral part of the MAC Community, a member of the Board of Directors and a champion of the performers.

There were very few shows at which Ruth was not present, with or without her beloved husband Ed. She saw hundreds of shows and performers, was a real friend to Cabaret spending her time, money and effort giving of herself in support. Ruth was a positive force, with a genuine smile that put you at ease immediately.

She knew everyone and everyone knew Ruth and loved her warmth and the tireless positive energy she gave to the cabaret community.

She will be missed by all. Rest in peace. Our hearts go out to Ed and her family.
