On Sunday May 6th, The Paramount Theatre located right on the famed Jersey Shore boardwalk hosted the 10th annual ceremony of The New Jersey Hall of Fame. The distinguish class of 2017 included astronauts, sports greats, rock stars, business titans and other great New Jerseyites. The evening was hosted by Whoopi Goldberg and the house band was led by New Jersey’s Glen Burtnik (formerly of Styx).

This memorable evening was filled with entertainment by such greats as Tommy James,  Steven Van Zandt, Gloria Gaynor, Marc Ballas, Joe Piscopo, and the surprise guest was New Jersey favorite son Bruce Sopringsteen. Bruce and Seven Van Zandt, rocked the house singing a duet “I Don’t Want to Go Home”.

Magda Katz has been in the entertainment world for most of her life as a child actress, assistant to the head publicist of Avco Embassy Pictures, theatrical print agent. She went on to manage the show business career of her 2 children for over 15 years. For the last five years Magda has been filming and editing video trailers of live performances as well as celebrity interviews. Broadway After Dark was the first website to feature her video trailers. She contributed in creating a star studded 90th birthday party for Mickey Rooney at Feinstein’s at the Regency Hotel.
