Last Thursday New Yorkers spent one of the hottest afternoons of the summer enjoying the fourth week of 106.7 LITE FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park, the free lunchtime series featuring On- and Off- Broadway performances throughout the summer. This week LITE FM host Bob Bronson was there to emcee alongside co-host Miral Kolb, from Illuminate.
Kinky Boots opened the show with “Step One”, “Land of Lola” and “The History of Wrong Guys”.
The crowd then danced along to hit songs “Land of Erin”, “River Liffey”, “Stand Fast”, “Pound and Weaver” and “Always in Love” from Himself and Nora.
“Ring of Keys” and “Flying Away” were featured from Fun Home.
Waitress brought a talented cast of actors, who performed “What Baking Can Do”, “I Didn’t Plan It” and “Bad Idea”
To end the afternoon, Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 gave an impressive performance with “Prologue” “No One Else” and “Charming”.
