It was a beautiful night at Citi Field last week. The rain stopped and the sun came out to match hundreds of kid’s bright, smiling faces.

The enCourage Kids Foundation hosted its 17th Annual Night at Citi Field on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Michele Hall Duncan, President & CEO was joined by 450 enCourage Kids supporters and families for a great night of fun, food and baseball as the NY Mets played the St. Louis Cardinals.

Joyful guests enjoyed a pre-game barbeque in the Bullpen Gate Plaza sponsored by Aramark. Kids played games and had their faces painted. At the grand picnic attendees had a special visit by NY Mets World Champion and Mets Hall of Fame Mookie Wilson, former NY Jets Legend Erik Coleman, Model/Actress Sabrina Coleman and Mr. Met himself.

President & CEO of the enCourage Kids Foundation spoke at the event about the success of the gathering over the years. “It is an amazing opportunity. We use it as part fundraiser, part escape for the kids. It’s great for the donors to see the children and directly see where the mission is accomplishing.”

As the game began, enCourage Kids own, Dorian Solimano, Miss NY Sweetheart/Royal International Miss, threw out the first pitch to a cheering crowd.
