CBD is also added to edibles including foods and beverages. These products are often sold online or in local stores where other marijuana goods are available. The reservoir patch has a gel CBD layer with at attaching adhesive. Matrix patches have CBD suffused within the adhesive, which is less measured than reservoir patches.

CBD creams and lotions are also quite popular as a therapeutic approach to treating conditions like inflammation, pain, muscle soreness, fibromyalgia and arthritis. CBD affects the endocannabinoid receptors in the skin directly, which makes creams or lotions the most logical choice for the topical treatment like back pain or muscle spasms. Topical CBD creams and lotions take about four to five hours to work thoroughly.
