5 Ways to Get Away with Wearing Sunglasses Indoors

5 Ways to Get Away with Wearing Sunglasses Indoors

These days, you don’t have to be an A-list celebrity to wear sunglasses indoors. With fashion and style becoming such a large part of our daily lives, with the right look and a large dash of confidence, just about anyone can wear sunglasses indoors. Even better, people may even mistake you for someone famous! Here’s how you can get away with wearing sunglasses indoors:

1: Transparent Lenses

Not everyone who wants to wear sunglasses indoors are doing it for fashion – some health conditions mean people can have extra-sensitive eyes that need protected from the sun.

The easiest way to wear sunglasses indoors is through transparent lenses, where you can get the style and protection of sunglasses without the dark lenses. So, whether it’s for fashion or your health, transparent lenses make wearing sunglasses indoors simple.

2: Choose a Cat Eye Style

Cat eye sunglasses are one of the easiest sunglass styles to wear indoors, as they have a smaller lens when compared to other popular styles of sunglasses. To really pull off a pair of these sunglasses indoors, pair them with a big smile. As, when you look confident, nobody is going to question why you’re wearing your sunglasses indoors.

Even better, a cat eye shape is timeless. No matter what the latest fashion trends are, a cat eye pair of sunglasses will always look stylish. In fact, this particular shape is a style staple for many celebrities and models

3: Wear Them on Your Head

If you don’t feel like you have the confidence to adorn your sunglasses indoors yet, you can still show off your style by wearing them on your head. This perfect ‘beach girl’ style will make you look fashionable and effortless – it’s also ideal for a brunch photograph for your Instagram page.

Wearing sunglasses on your head is an ideal way to hide a bad hair day or some roots that need touched up.

4: Prescription Sunglasses for Sight

For those of us who are known for wearing our prescription glasses, you can up your style game by investing in some prescription lens sunglasses too. For the ultimate fashion choice, Ray-Ban offer prescription lenses to be added to many of their classic sunglasses, including Aviators.

Then, if someone asks why you have your sunglasses on, you can simply say “to see”!

5: Go Incognito

Sometimes wearing sunglasses indoors is less about fashion and more about avoiding others. Perhaps you had too many cocktails the night before, or maybe you didn’t have time to do your make-up or style your hair.

If you need to nip to your local store for some shopping, wearing sunglasses indoors with dark lenses will help cover your face and stop others from recognising you. If you want to feel more incognito, pair your dark sunglasses with a dark Nike baseball cap as well.

Wearing sunglasses indoors might not seem like the norm. However, if you hold enough confidence in yourself, you’ll easily rock your sunglass style whether you’re on the beach or in the mall.
