Angela Lansbury Shines at Premiere for Little Women

Masterpiece/PBS’s new miniseries “Little Women”  premieres this upcoming Sunday, May 13th. A very special soiree by A-List Communications took place to honor the show.

Cast in attendance for the advanced screening and panel today which included national treasure and TV Legend Angela Lansbury, Hollywood’s new “It Girl” Maya Hawke (Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s daughter, also featured in the upcoming projects Ladyworld  and As They Slept), Kathryn Newton (Big Little Lies and Supernatural). as well as Heidi Thomas (Writer and Executive Producer), Colin Callender, Executive Producer, Playground) and Susanne Simpson (Senior Series Producer, MASTERPIECE). The screening was hosted by Ahmad Tea as part of the Television Academy’s Emmy Awards Consideration Preview.

The legendary Angela Lansbury has been nominated for over 18 Emmy’s since 1983.  The event is hopeful for her nomination for this year’s Emmy’s for her role in the new mini-series “Little Women.” And an incredible fact, Mrs Lansbury recently mentioned in an interview that the series “Little Woman” marks the first time in her career and at the age of 92 that she has worked with a female director.

Here is to beautiful women in entertainment.
