This week in Manhattan a very special benefit took place to help brighten the lives of some very special New York City Kids.
Top Coat was hosted at the lovely Knoll showroom where a hundred guests enjoyed delightful cocktails and color cuisine. The defusion-infused dance party kept the beats high with special guest DJ Kreemy (world-renowned industrial designer, Karim Rashid).
Proceeds from the night benefited the organizations continuum of design-based programs, including a wonderful summer program called Summer Design Studio, which gives local school children an amazing opportunity for seven weeks to expand their creative minds.
As stated by Adam S. Weinberg, President, Denison University, “Publicolor makes a difference at so many different levels. Kids get desperately needed mentorship and opportunities. Teachers get improved working environments. Communities get revived public spaces. And volunteers get opportunities to contribute and make a difference. This is a special program that is making a difference.”
Truly this a program that makes an incredible difference in lives and should be applauded for the work. Without them The Big Apple would be a little less brighter.
