70th Primetime Emmy Awards Light Up the Week

On Sunday, the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards took place and were full of highs and lows during the broadcast. Some took home the gold while others simply enjoyed the magical night in Hollywood. Before and after the ceremony were also moments full of glittery glory.

At the ceremony itself the stars were simply stunning.Emmy nominated actress Jessica Biel (Best Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Nominee: “The Sinner”) mesmerized the Emmys red carpet with an ethereal style created by celebrity hairstylist, Adir Abergel, using Virtue and ghd products.

And, as equally as lovely was Kristen Bell  in a makeup look created using new K-beauty inspired cosmetics brand JOAH, and Kiss Lashes.

Celebrities flocked to Avenue Los Angeles after the various after parties after the Emmy’s to let loose at Samsung Galaxy’s “Celebrating the Culture”. Host of the night, Issa Rae, showed up with friend, Tiffany Haddish, after hitting up the Governors Ball. HBO’s Insecure cast mates like Yvonne Orji, Amanda Seales and Kendrick Sampson came out to support Issa. This is Us star, Sterling K Brown posed for photos with rapper Wale. Near the end of the night, Dave Chappelle surprised party goers by jumping behind the DJ booth, singing along to “Killing Me Softly”. Also spotted at Avenue were Empire’s Taraji P. Henson, Grey’s Anatomy Jesse Williams, The New Edition Story cast mates, Algee Smith and Elijah Kelly, Casper Smart, Lil Rey Howery, Serayah, Daniel Kaluuya, Terrance J, LA Ram’s Todd Gurley, Anthony Anderson, Game of Thrones Nathalie Emmanuel, and Orange is the New Black’s Dasha Polanco and Matt McGorry.

Before the big night, Stephen Colbert locked dapper as he celebrated at the CBS Late Show Pre-Emmy Party at Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles, CA, hosted by SVEDKA Vodka. Colbert was spotted chatting with his writers and wife, Evelyn McGee-Colbert, over SVEDKA ‘Figueroa’ cocktails.

On September 13, the Ninth Annual Style Lounge & Party in Celebration of Emmy Season took place at the world-renowned restaurant, Fig & Olive in West Hollywood.  The room was full of nominees and the best in the industry. Showcased were incredible fashions, grooming products, jewelry and more.

In the spirit of giving back, Wednesday’s Child was the official charity and was on-site collecting monetary donations and unwrapped gifts for teens in foster care.

Once again this year Ferrari Trento was chosen as the Official Sparkling Wine of Emmy Awards season, facilitating a toast to the greatest night in television with Italy’s most awarded sparkling wine. Ferrari Brut Trentodoc welcomed the 4,000 actors, producers, directors, journalists and international VIPs to the Governors Ball following the awards ceremony on Monday evening, September 17, in classic Italian style.

The innovative nature of this year’s Governors Ball, “Under the Stars,” featured a stunning open air setting with a dedicated Ferrari Bar, at which guests enjoyed the full portfolio of the House amid views of the glittering city of Los Angeles and the glittering stars of the small screen.

Matteo Lunelli, President of Ferrari Trento, gifted several luminaries with commemorative Ferrari Trento Emmys bottles in honour of their achievements.
