81 Shows Filming In NYC

According to the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, NYC’s entertainment industry is working hard to increase the number of production studios to increase the number of TV shows, and movies filming in NYC. So far there are 81 TV Shows and films using New York as their backdrop.

The show being talked about the most is Katy Keene the spin off of Riverdale staring Pretty Little Liar Lucy Hale.

Broadway’s The Humans is also filming. Stephen Karam to adapt his award winning play into a feature length movie. Jayne Houdyshell reprises her role from the Broadway production in the film. The rest of the cast stars Beanie Feldstein, Richard Jenkins, Amy Schumer and Steven Yeun.

Film

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
