A Child’s Christmas in Wales
Entertainment
“I can never remember whether it snowed for six days and six nights when I was twelve or whether it snowed for twelve days and twelve nights when I was six,” are Ashley Robinson first words to the audience. Robinson has an effortless charm that makes these words seem real as if they are coming from your own memories. Jacque Carahan Danielle Erin Rhodes has the character roles such as Thomas’ drunken aunt. Katie Fabel is the love interest to Kenneth Quinney Fancoeur. John Cullum is the patriarch here and when he is on he is good. Equipped with a script he still gets lost so we feel as if we are in a under rehearsed production.
A Child’s Christmas in Wales: Irish Repertory Theatre at 132 West 22nd St. until Jan. 3rd.
