A Facial Massage With Greta at MYND Was a Gift From Heaven

A Facial Massage With Greta at MYND Was a Gift From Heaven

I was given a gift certificate in a gift bag, almost a year ago, but lost it. Thanks to my new kitty Hamlet, I found it just in time to use for my birthday.

It was for an Skinerergy Facial ($225) from a therapist called Greta at the Red Door Salon, which has since changed their name to Mynd at 663 Fifth Avenue. Upon arriving, I was escorted into a locker room where there are steam rooms and showers as well as blowdryers. Then it was off to the waiting room for tea, biscotti or lemon and lime infused water.

When it was my time, I was led to my room by Greta and had one of the most healing and soothing facials, along with a massage of my life. Her touch is angelic. It was if she knew my body’s rhythms, as her healing hands sought out where knots of tension and pain were held in my face. Who knew tension resides in your face, but it does. She was kind, gentle, and found every single area that needed care. I am crippled by daily pain, ever since a cab ran over me. It is hard to even get a massage now, because it’s as if my body is crying for help and doesn’t know how to accept it. With Greta’s facial I found a way to heal.

The amazing Greta

Greta’s extensive knowledge of my body and where certain pressure points hold pain allowed Greta to read my face along with my body. I didn’t even have to tell her where I ached. She took her time and not only transformed my health, but made me look at least 10 year younger. I cannot thank her enough and I left feeling as if I had made a friend for life. I absolutely loved her and loved the skin energy facial. This pampering was so needed and was the best birthday gift ever.

After the facial I steamed, showered and dried my hair.

Then it was off to a free complementary make-up session, before I headed home.

I recommend Mynd, but more importantly Greta. Thank-you Viennese Ball for this wonderful gift certificate from Greta. I will be back, as Greta truly put me back into nirvana and for a few days I was pain free and looking as if I reached the fountain of youth.

Greta by the way has a new skin line that will have you feeling great at home. These products really do make a difference. Like I said this women is a gift from heaven.
