This weekend at the New York Public Library hundreds of young professionals gathered for the glorious 20th Annual October Ball.
The glamorous black tie ball benefited the Catholic Big Sisters Big Brothers charity organization.
It was truly one of the most spectacular events of the season with gorgeous gowns and handsome tuxedos flowing up the entrance steps of the grand landmark building.
Guests enjoyed a lovely night produced by Winstanley Events that included delicious passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails all matching the wonderful theme of An Evening in Wonderland.
The room was filled with joyful band music and stunning roses to match the blissful feelings in the air.
As the night progressed attendees took to the dance floor for a lively session by DJ Nicole Rose.
Chairs this year included Marisol Tudela Blondet, Alison Carter Cognetti, Katzie Guy-Hamilton and Ariel Phipps Segal.
Since 1902, the mission of the Catholic Big Sisters & Big Brothers has been to address the challenges facing youth living in New York City’s low-income neighborhoods by providing one-to-one community-based mentoring services, supported by family counseling and skill learning programs. We seek to improve the lives of children of all faiths, empowering them to recognize, reach for and achieve their full potential as self-sufficient adults.
