A 95 minutes drive  from Broadway takes you to the tranquil bucolic town of Ridgefield Connecticut. Main St offers outdoor dining with great food at the Village Tavern.  The real reason to go to Ridgefield is to attend a performance at ACT of Connecticut (A Contemporary Theatre).

Village Tavern
The mission of ACT of CT is to Bring Broadway caliber theater, with Broadway professionals, to Ridgefield area including top rate contemporary productions, new works, and re-imagined revivals. ACT of CT ’s home is the famous Schlumberger auditorium, which adds to the community’s anticipated cultural center that spans 30 acres of the former Schlumberer property. ACT of CT first production in it’s new home will be the mega Broadway hit Mamma Mia! starting June 7, 2018.
