Off Broadway
MvVO Art Launches AD ART SHOW
At The Atlantic Theatre Sunday begins previews September 4th and runs until October 13th. The home of this brand new play is the Linda Gross Theater at 336 West 20th Street. This ethereal new play written by Tony Award winner Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Let the Right One In), directed by Obie Award winner Lee Sunday Evans (Dance Nation) is long awaited.
There is a moment when you want to look ahead to the future, but the past is eating you whole. In Sunday, friends gather for a book group, anxious to prove their intellectual worth, but that anxiety gets the better of any actual discussion as emotional truths come pouring out…
The cast features Juliana Canfield, seen on screen in Succession and Off-Broadway recently in The House That Will Not Stand, Maurice Jones (Saint Joan, The Cherry Orchard), Sadie Scott (Downtown Race Riot), Ruby Frankel (Off-Broadway debut; NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Atlantic Acting School 2017), Zane Pais (Dead Poets Society), and Christian Strange (Off-Broadway debut).
