Aladdin vs The Lion King Sing Off

The Lion King and Aladdin are two of the biggest hits on Broadway right now. When the two casts got stuck in an airport earlier this year, they decided to pass the time in the terminal with a super-charged performance, belting out the most famous songs from each show for all the travelers to enjoy. The video went viral with more than 1 million views.

“We were on our way to this conference and we were stuck at the airport delayed for six hours, and to pass the time we just started doing what we love to do and the audience really got into it,” stated Adam Jacobs, the only actor to ever play the title roles of Simba in The Lion King and now Aladdin in Aladdin. “It’s been fantastic. But I should tell you, it looks like we’re having this battle up there, but the truth is there is no competition between us. We’ve got nothing but love for each other.”

Good Morning America made it so this was done again live.
