APAP Finishes A Successful Week

Performing arts leaders, artists, managers, agents and presenters of dance, theater, music, opera and family programming made their annual pilgrimage to New York this past week for APAP/NYC 2016. It was another successful conference where artist and presenters from all over the globe were able to network, collaborate and exchange ideas. Presenters had an opportunity to see extraordinary talent showcases at The Hilton Hotel, as well as venue’s around the city.

The Association of Performing Arts Presenters is the national service, advocacy and membership organization for presenters of the performing arts. APAP is dedicated to developing and supporting a robust performing arts industry and the professionals who work within it.

Magda Katz has been in the entertainment world for most of her life as a child actress, assistant to the head publicist of Avco Embassy Pictures, theatrical print agent. She went on to manage the show business career of her 2 children for over 15 years. For the last five years Magda has been filming and editing video trailers of live performances as well as celebrity interviews. Broadway After Dark was the first website to feature her video trailers. She contributed in creating a star studded 90th birthday party for Mickey Rooney at Feinstein’s at the Regency Hotel.
