Ask Sam: 90 Days to an Improved You Monthly Update 1st 30 Days.
As I go through this journey, I lay out my tool belt in front of me and see that I have many resources to help me achieve my goals. I can accomplish goals by utilizing the wealth of my toolbox. Individuals and products that have offered great support and beautiful results.
This month’s coaches, support and products are:
The M5 System by Michael T. Cole (@MtcprodM)
The New York City Ballet’s Workout #1 on YouTube
My Xerveo supplements, the Coffee Challenge, and my coach Mindii (@SayMindii), as well as her “1 Min. Workouts”
My assistant Angelica.(@AngelicaMolinaMUA) Nobody does it all by themselves and there is no way I could have accomplished as much as we did without her help.
My white board wall by Idea Paint that serves as a life size vision board. It’s also where I keep track of my weigh-ins, so my results good or bad are on the wall for all to see! Which is plenty of motivation. Often when I felt that I haven’t accomplished much and I have so much more left to do, the white board wall by Idea Paint in my office helped. My assistant and I make a habit of making a big list of what we need to do and crossing items off of it as we complete each task. It’s reassuring to see how much work you’ve done manifested in some way to remind you of how much you’ve done.
Day 1 Goal:
Get into the best shape of my life
Where we are now:
I’m down 6 pounds from when I started this journey. Thanks to all my support, I’m so much closer to my goals. After a hiccup in Week #3 when I had gained some weight back, I decided that my body and my fitness are a priority as well as all my other goals. This led me right back to success and I am excited for the progress I will make in the next two months. The set back also forced me to reevaluate and change my schedule. We need to live by our priorities. If what we’re spending our time in is not in keeping with what we are after and have proven no longer fulfilling or fruitful, it’s time to reevaluate our time commitments and make some changes. This exercise has brought me to a new level of understanding on a larger picture beyond the remaining 60 Days of my experiment.
Day 1 Goal:
Give myself an update.
Where I’m at now:
Angelica, my tech-savvy assistant, and I fixed and updated all of my public profiles and social media accounts. Everything is shiny and new! We also fixed some email issues. I had about 5 email accounts that were just taking up space and causing problems. I’m interested in streamlining my life so that I can move quicker with less baggage.
Day 1 Goal:
Further my career
Where I’m at now:
This months I laid all the foundation to get my career goals in motion. The above goal of “giving myself an update” ties directly into this one.
As I’m in the midst of productions, this area of my life has also been making progress.
Day 1 Goal:
Finish a very special apartment renovation with my new partner, (The fruits of my labor from “90 Days to husband #2”)
Where I’m at now:
This has also been a ride! There the renovation is coming together and my apartment is looking more beautiful than ever. While there is still plenty to do, I am happy to say that progress is being made. And I am on track for my dwelling to be totally beautiful, incredibly organized, completed by the end of the 90 days.
In addition to all these things we’ve accomplished, one of the most important things we did was register for my 5th year participating in the American Heart Association’s Wall Street 5k. As I get in shape to run for this great cause, I get closer to my goal while doing something to give back. It’s win, win!
