Counting calories was a good way to get an idea of what I was eating daily. Also it was a good way to recalibrate my sense of portion. We all have to find what works for us. One thing I found was that being religious counting calories was not working with my lifestyle or my obsessive compulsive personality. I have suffered from eating and body image issues in my past. I took a few days off from counting my caloric intake while staying in Boston. I decided that I would just take a couple days off to breathe, get some rest, and center myself. I also utilized some visualization techniques and lo and behold, the weight came right off. What I was holding onto was stress.
I’ve had a new influx of clients and opportunities. All and all in the grand scope of improving all areas of my life, it has been a tremendously successful week. I highly recommend giving visualization with deep breathing a try.
