Bantam Bagels Relaunches in Big Apple Style

Bantam Bagels is relaunching its popular, original retail bakery in New York City’s iconic West Village. A shop redesign taking place this month, will be centered around innovation and creativity, the anchor that popularized their mini stuffed bagels when Bantam exploded into the New York City market just 5 years ago.

The new Bantam Bagels retail shop, located in its original location at 283 Bleecker Street, will become an innovation hub for co-founders and inventors of the Bantam Bagel, Nick and Elyse Oleksak. The new menu will feature rotating “flavors of the month”, where Nick and Elyse will spotlight unique, creative and exclusive Bantam Bagels flavors that can only be accessed to those who visit the retail shop. The menu will feature “Bantam Boards”, charcutier-style pallets consisting of Bantams, spreads and accoutrements that highlight different Bantam Bagels – Bantam Egg Bites and Bantam Pancakes – all part of a dine-in experience.

Since launching their mini stuffed bagel concept in the heart of NYC, Elyse and Nick grew Bantam Bagels from one tiny shop to tens of thousands of points of distribution nationwide – Starbucks cafes, grocery stores and Targets.

“As we grow Bantam’s presence outside of New York City, it’s more important than ever for us to reflect and honor our New York roots, and to create an environment where we can both celebrate where the Bantam was born, and continue to facilitate a culture of innovation and creativity,” said Elyse Oleksak, co-founder of Bantam Bagels. “It’s our goal to bring a bite of NYC to people, wherever they are.”
