Beautiful Thrills and Tastes at Bustan

Beautiful Thrills and Tastes at Bustan

Upper West Side dinning is typically full of mom and pop establishments that while may offer tasty delights are not always stunning in vibe.

Bustan (487 Amsterdam Avenue) is making waves in the neighborhood for standing out as different. The establishment has gained a lovely reputation for their divine dishes as equally as the stylish sophistication of the venue.

The restaurant name, which translates into “garden” in Hebrew, is befitting and representative of a divine oasis full of vibrant life. The blossoming dynamic is powerful and infused with seeds that have rooted themselves to become sweet flowers of taste and robust sensations.

The Mediterranean eatery has a mixed approach to food blending old-world charm with modern, sexy twists. Dishes presented at tables are fun like a long-awaited adventure on a private jet. They take you to a destination that is full of epic moments.

Starters such as Roasted Heirloom Cauliflower, Taboon Charred Octopus, and Buratta with Moroccan beets ragout and watercress are bountiful dishes. Satisfaction is further found in entrees such as a phenomenal Australian Lamb Chops served with green peas, cauliflower and herb tahini. The Taboo Baked Branzino is truly something to write home about during this lovely adventure. The dish is perfection served with rosemary and salsa verde with sweet fingerling potatoes and broccolini.

Additionally, there is also a superb dessert menu, which highlights the talents of a master pastry chef. It is a story of love and passion she shared for food that goes into her dishes as she works side by side with the talented executive chef in the kitchen, who just happens to be her boyfriend.

Bustan is a vision of enchantment projected handsomely by the restaurant’s proprietor Tuvia Feldman. He and the staff have created a work of art that needs to be seen again and again.
