Bottega Veneta collection was shown at the American Stock Exchange building. Thomas Maier brought in Broadway set designer Scott Pask for the project. The models walked on raised platform, which made the show difficult to watch, but the show was spectacular.
From silk pajamas reimagined as onesie underneath camel coats, to 1930’s styled dresses, couture hand bags, and men’s wear that had style, this show dazzled.
The coats each had a different look in the inside and outside. Each felt luxurious using mohair and tiger stripes.
The color scheme was marigold, wine, purple, orchid to gray, embedded with shimmer, velvet and sequins.
Maier added surprises in his tailoring with multiple, demonstrative pockets and embroidery.
In men’s wear the look felt sporty with jackets and coats, in shearling animal stripes.
