In the celebrated tradition of everything old is new again; Conair is re-launching its QUICK GEMS with rising singer/songwriter Ashley Suppa as the product’s spokesperson.
19-year-old Suppa, who last year released a self-titled EP to rave review from the entertainment media, is a perfect choice for the re-launched product, according to Conair’s VP of Marketing Robin H. Linsley, “It is with great pleasure that we are partnering with Ashley Suppa for the relaunch of Conair Quick Gems. Bejeweling and adding sparkle to your hair is very much on trend today and is the perfect look for Ashley, an amazingly talented songwriter and musician.”
“Ashley is a delight to work with, bringing her vibrant energy and bubbly personality to the project. We are thrilled with the jingle she wrote and recorded for Quick Gems – it is the perfect blend of a nostalgic nod to Quick Gems of Y2K and a modern fresh sound for today’s Gen Z consumers.”
Said Suppa, “Working with the incredible team at ConAir on this project has made a childhood dream of mine come true! Quick Gems has brought me some of my fondest memories of the past, and I am so excited to help bring these same memories to the next generation. It is an honor to be a part of the revival of one of my favorite fashion trends by continuing to share the shimmer of Quick Gems!”
With a video already on the Conair site: (https://www.conair.com/en/quickgems) it is being immediately recognized for the re-launch of Quick Gems, but also for Suppa’s timely arrival on the contemporary music scene.
Suppa will also be present at Conair’s Scunci booth for a fan-centric party at the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center on December 9 prior to Z100’s Jingle Ball event at Madison Square Garden.
The free event will provide fans with the opportunity to meet Ashley, try on different looks with Quick Gems and Scunci products, and win tickets to the sold-out “Z100 Jingle Ball” at Madison Square Garden later that night
