5 more days and Broadway starts to come back. Pass Over opened last week at the August Wilson theatre, but look for the re-opening of Hadestown at the Walter Kerr Theatre to bring back the feel of New Orleans September 2nd. Waitress at Ethel Barrymore Theatre brings back the smell of pies on the 2nd as well. Wicked flys over at the George Gershwin Theatre September 14th. The Lion King also roars at the Minskoff Theatre on the 14th as does Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Chicago also struts their stuff on the 14th. David Bryne’s America Utopia goes for streaming to the Hudson Theatre on the 17th and closing out the openings is Lakawana Blues at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on the 28th.
In previews Six at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre starts September 17th. Come From Away at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and Chicken And Bisquits at the Circle in the Square start September 23rd. Moulin Rouge at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre and Is This a Room at the Lyceum start September 24th. The Lehman Trilogy at the Nederlander Theatre starts previews September 25th and Aladdin at the New Amsterdam Theatre September 28th.
