Brookfield Hosts Grace-Ful Ice: Endangered Animals Live Ice Carvings

Join Arts Brookfield and Okamoto Studio for a live ice sculpting of endangered animals at theGrace Building, 1114 Avenue of the Americas. In collaboration with NYC-based artist Okamoto Studio, Graceful Ice returns for its eighth year of spectacular live ice carvings, transforming ordinary blocks of ice into a menagerie of life-like animals. This year’s ice sculptures will feature carvings of endangered animals. Visit Grace Plaza to catch a glimpse of the sculptures before they melt away!

This year’s carvings will occur at 5:00 – 7:00pm on Monday, December 10 at 12:00 – 1:30pm on Tuesday, December 11. The sculptures will be on display all day on Tuesday, December 11 from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
