Celebrated chef, author and speaker Vincent Tropepe has added a new creative endeavor to his impressive portfolio; that of fashion designer and founder of Vincent Tropepe Fashions (VTF). Tropepe has embarked upon designing and manufacturing a unique line of shoes and sneakers that are both fashion-forward and comfortable, made in Italy by skilled artisans, handcrafted entirely of vegan leathers. Additionally, Tropepe has designed a full accessories line, including handbags, scarves and jewelry.
To introduce the Vincent Tropepe Fashions line of shoes, sneakers and accessories, a kick-off fashion show will take place Friday, September 21 at 6:30 PM, at Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street, Brooklyn.
VTF models, including personalities from the fields of culinary arts, media and entertainment, will feature Iron Chef Cat Cora, former Miss New York, Jamie Lynn Macchia, stage and film actor Adam Davenport, Emmy-winning journalist Tinabeth Pina, former Miss Wheelchair New York, Dr. Danielle Sheypuk, and PBS television host and Broadway actor Ben Cameron, among others. Dignitaries expected at the event include Deputy Strategist of Communications for the Borough of Brooklyn, Rachel Atcheson.
The fashion show will be hosted by Billboard-award winning radio host and television personality Valerie Smaldone.
VTF has highlighted two specific pieces of jewelry in the VTF accessories collection: one bracelet made of parachute cord from World War II, and another featuring a metal plate embossed with the design of an actual sound wave of the phrase, “every voice counts.” Both unique and inspirational bracelets will have a charitable connection.
Always wishing to inspire his customers to be authentic and confident, a motivational message is sewn into each shoe and sneaker designed and crafted by Tropepe.
Food at the event will be provided by Sophia’s Restaurant and the gift bag sponsor is the Gourmet Ghee Company.
The VTF Fashion Show is free and open to the public, but you must make a ticket reservation at:
