for more than 160 years, Neuhaus and Belgium have been inextricably linked − ever since founder Jean Neuhaus fell in love with Brussels and her inhabitants and began contributing his artisanal chocolates to the city’s rich gastronomic culture. Neuhaus Chocolates are delicate
Our favorites were the “Caprice”, Nougatine, hand-filled with smooth Madagascar vanilla fresh cream, enrobed with dark chocolate, “The Pierre”, a praline filled with a harmonious balance of caramel, Caramelized chocolate with pieces of Isigny caramel and milk chocolate, “The Millénaire”, a milk chocolate praline filled with Neuhaus gianduja enriched with crisped rice. The artisanal gianduja is made with the finest hazelnuts from the Black Sea coast and almonds from sunny California. The surprising addition of delicate crisped rice elevates this praline to create a rich experience of complementary tastes and textures and “The Aphrodite”, i an inspiriting blend of Madagascar vanilla cream and smooth gianduja, wrapped in a veil of pristine white chocolate.
