This weekend the lovely Jason Binn of Dujour along with Blackberry Priv and Manhattan Motorcars helped celebrate the kick-off of “Steven Tyler…Out On A Limb” charity show.
The beautiful VIP event at LAVO gave guests an opportunity to learn more about Tyler’s advocacy work with the phenomenal Janie’s Fund, which works in collaboration with the non-profit organization Youth Villages.
At the event guests sipped champagne and were able to preview Steven Tyler’s Hennessy Venom GT Spyder. The car is to be auctioned off and will be on display May 2 at Lincoln Center.
Janie’s Fund is a philanthropic initiative created by Steven Tyler in partnership with one of the country’s most effective and prestigious nonprofit organizations, Youth Villages, to bring hope and healing to girls who have suffered the trauma of abuse and neglect. Youth Villages provides proven ways to address the trauma of sexual abuse in children and to expand these to help more girls. These crucial programs have been proven to give hope and make a lasting difference in these girls’ lives through the latest research on what works to help girls overcome trauma.
Founded in 1986, Youth Villages is a leading national nonprofit dedicated to providing the most effective local solutions to help emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully. The organization helps more than 23,000 children and families each year from more than 20 states and Washington, D.C. Youth Villages’ Evidentiary Family Restoration approach involves intensive work with the child and family, a focus on measuring outcomes, keeping children in the community whenever safely possible, and providing unprecedented accountability to families and funders.
