Fashion Week Brings Kaia Gerber and More Shows and Events

16 year-old Kaia Gerber made her runway debut in Raf Simon’s Calvin Klein show. Proud mom Cindy Crawford and hot model brother Presley cheered her on. Brooke Shields and Paris Jackson were also in attendance.

Be apart of the scene at The Standard, East Village. They have joined forces with Armarium for a pop-up at The Perch. They’ll be serving high fashion looks you can borrow, just like Rent the Runway, only with far more fashion brands, including Jimmy Choo, Nina Ricci, Missoni and Peter Pilotto. The week-long pop-up is open to the public.

Samsung 837, is open to the public all week and partnering with WWD to create The Style Dimension. RSVP online for influencer chats, designer intel and  street style trends.

Throwback to the ’90s with 15-minute makeovers and manicures courtesy of Urban Decay. Glittery and grungy nails will be treated to polishes from Urban Decay’s vintage nail color collection, comprised of colors from their original 1996 line.

Queer style blog and lifestyle website DapperQ will host its third-annual runway show. The event will include mini pop-up shops, a catwalk featuring over 60 models in gender-neutral and gender-nonconforming looks, and interactive workshops.

Mario Batali’s newest restaurant La Sirena is treating Fashion Weekers  to wine and cocktails on the patio from 3-5pm each day. Aperitivi, including pinzimonio skewers, sweet corn arancini, and caprese skewers, will also be served.

Events

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
