Last night in Manhattan, FIRST WE TAKE BROOKLYN premiered. The event was hosted by ​2B Films’ Danny A Abeckaser at the Regal Battery Park Theater presented by HOOCH BLACK. The film marks Abeckaser’s directorial debut, and was co-written by Abeckaser and Jon Carlo.

Notable guests in attendance included Danny A. Abeckaser (Director, Writer, Actor), Scott Eastwood, the film’s leading actress AnnaLynne McCord, Charlotte McKinney, Kyle Stefanski (Founder of Rhonda’s Kiss), Ari Barkan, Stevie Guttman, Edoardo Ballerini, Kathrine Narducci (The Iceman/Sopranos), Sasha Feldman (Get Shorty), John Middleton (Film Producer), King Mean (whose soundtrack is featured in the film) Danielle Staub (Real Housewives of New Jersey) with daughter, IMG model Christine Staub, Jonathan Cheban (Keeping Up With The Kardashians, aka FOOD GOD), Derek Warburton (Style Expert), Lyda Beauty founder Lida Fischer, and more. Danny’s girlfriend, model Kristin Olenik also came out to support her leading man.  Also in attendance was Jack Ryan, the notable basketball prodigy and legendary, Brooklyn bred streetball player who will be collaborating with Abeckaser on an upcoming project.

After the screening the good vibes continued at TAO GROUP’s MARQUEE for a private after-party. It was like family for the cast, reuniting and being back together again laughing and mingling with their guests. The leading actors of the film were all wearing Thursday Boots, who will be hosting a Q + A in Manhattan on February 9th in support of the movie.

First We Take Brooklyn premiered on February 7th in New York, followed by a national theatrical release in select theatres on February 9th across the country, and Miami and Los Angeles to open on February 16th. Sony’s home box office division 4Digital has confirmed a Video on Demand (VOD) and DVD release for late May 2018.
