FKA Twigs Has Teamed With Nike For A Spectacular Campaign

FKA Twigs,the music artist has conceived, directed, co-created and soundtracked the entire campaign for Nike called “Do You Believe in More?”

The 28-year-old singer, dancer, musician and director used her sinewy form to covert these dancers/ athletes to defy stereotypes on what it means to be athletic. Featured are krump dancer Saskia Horton and karate world champion Jay Kirton. “It’s about what you do in fitness gear. To me they represent ‘modern movement,’ which I define as exploring any genre of sport without boundaries,” Twigs (born Tahliah Debrett Barnett ) said in a statement.

The ads, were styled by Matthew Josephs who used cut-outs and layers, metal bib necklaces, rustic bangles, adorned with metallic face paint and facial jewelry.

The campaign was shot in Mexico City.

Dance

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
