Former Convict Slashes Man’s Face in Times Square

33-year-old Nestor Galindo, a former convict from Fairview, New Jersey was arrested after stabbing another man in Times Square on Sunday night. Mr. Galindo, slashed a 41-year-old man in the face after being bumped into at the corner of West 46th Street and Broadway. Galindo approached two men walking in Times Square around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night and shoved one of the men, an NYPD spokeswoman said. Galindo, started a tirade using hateful words. The men walked away, but 42-year-old El Sayed Shalaby, was slashed in the face and then fought off his attacker.

Galindo served two years in prison on drug charges and has been arrested 16 times, according to WABC-7.
