The New York Pops line-up is spectacular.
On Monday, September 23rd at Feinstein’s/54 Below, an intimate cabaret performance featuring Norm Lewis at Feinstein’s/54 Below! The evening will kick off with a champagne reception in the elegant setting of a 1920s Manhattan supper club. Always charming and entertaining, Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke will serve as our host and will introduce us to special guests from our PopsEd music education programs. A delectable seasonal menu will be served, complete with wine pairings, while you enjoy enchanting entertainment by Broadway baritone Norm Lewis.
Proceeds from The New York Pops Underground cabaret fundraiser support our PopsEd programs, which provide music education, arts access, and performance opportunities for New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds.
On Friday, October 18th, stage, film, and television star Jeremy Jordan returns to Carnegie Hall to premiere a brand-new program, bringing his own blend of classic and contemporary styles as he showcases some of his favorite songs from Broadway and beyond.
On December 20 or Saturday, December 21 A Frank and Ella Christmas with Jazz star Tony DeSare and stage legend Capathia Jenkins. Join The New York Pops’ annual holiday celebration, ringing in the most wonderful time of the year with festive classics and a few surprises.
On Friday, January 24 Find Your Dream The Songs Of Rodgers And Hammerstein. The New York Pops brings you the timeless work of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II with a concert that covers all 11 of their classic collaborations, including Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, and The Sound of Music sung by Max von Essen and Laura Michelle Kelly.
On Friday, February 14th I’m Every Woman Divas On Stage, saluting the power of the female voice, The New York Pops pays tribute to Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Adele, and fellow icons who have transformed the world through song. Mandy Gonzalez, Carrie Manolakos, and Alex Newell star.
On Friday, March 27th, The New York Pops celebrates John Williams, the five-time Academy Award-winning genius who brought musical life to all your favorite films, including Jaws, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter. It’s Movie Night at the Pops.
Finally on April 27th it is the Pops 37th Birthday Gala. Steven Reineke leads The New York Pops in a celebration of its 37th Anniversary at Carnegie Hall! Proceeds support the orchestra and its PopsEd music education programs throughout all five boroughs of NYC.
